Reborn Ready Corp is a Macon-based nonprofit organization dedicated to reducing recidivism through a comprehensive, integrated approach to reentry. We don't offer isolated services — we build systems of support that address housing, employment, and wellbeing together.
As the mission holder and grant applicant for the Reborn Ready ecosystem, we oversee program design, fund development, community partnerships, and outcome tracking. Our work is grounded in Macon-Bibb County and designed to meet people where they are — on the day they come home.
We serve justice-involved adults at moderate-to-high recidivism risk, with specialized tracks for veterans and individuals in recovery from substance use disorders.

Chrissy Hunt is a Macon-based nonprofit leader, entrepreneur, and community advocate with over seven years of experience in criminal justice administration and a degree in Criminal Justice. Before founding Reborn Ready Corp, she served in administrative and program coordination roles at a police department — work that gave her a front-row seat to the cycle of incarceration and the gaps in support that too often lead people back into the system.
But Chrissy's understanding of instability goes beyond the professional. She has experienced housing insecurity firsthand — a chapter of her life that gave her something no degree or job title could: the lived knowledge of what it feels like to have nowhere to go, and the unshakeable conviction that no one should face that alone.
That experience didn't break her. It built her purpose.
In response, Chrissy built Reborn Ready from the ground up — an integrated reentry ecosystem designed to address the root causes of recidivism through stable housing, meaningful employment, and wraparound support. Her vision goes beyond services: she believes that when justice-involved adults are given real tools and real opportunities, they don't just survive reentry — they become contributors to the communities they return to.
Chrissy leads Reborn Ready Corp as its Founder and CEO, overseeing mission strategy, grant development, and community partnerships across Macon-Bibb County.
Georgia's reentry crisis isn't abstract — it's playing out in Macon-Bibb County every day. These numbers show why Reborn Ready exists.
"Georgia holds the seventh-highest incarceration rate in the nation, yet only 15% of people released from state prisons pass through structured step-down housing. The remaining 85% reenter Macon-Bibb County with no formal housing plan, at a time when over 10% of returning citizens nationally become homeless within months of release. Reborn Ready Corp addresses this gap directly, pairing stable housing with workforce development to address the two most cited drivers of recidivism: lack of residence and lack of income."

Earn-while-you-learn skilled trades training in partnership with GaChi Handyman Services. Clients build a résumé, earn income, and develop real-world skills simultaneously.
A dedicated program for justice-involved veterans offering housing priority, VA benefits navigation, peer support, and connection to veteran-specific employment opportunities.
We work alongside Macon-Bibb County agencies, faith organizations, employers, and courts to create a coordinated reentry safety net for returning residents.
Coming Year 2: a dedicated track for individuals in recovery from substance use disorders, combining housing stability with peer recovery coaching and treatment linkage.
Justice-involved adults with moderate-to-high recidivism risk and no stable housing plan upon release from incarceration.
Justice-involved veterans navigating reentry alongside service-connected challenges, including PTSD, disability, and VA system complexity.

Guided by the motto, "Where Completion Opens the Door to Rebirth," the organization introduces a holistic, evidence-aligned model designed to support adults transitioning from homelessness, recovery programs, and incarceration.
The organization addresses systemic barriers through a rigorous, accountability-based program built on five core pillars: Structured Housing, Accountability & Skill Building, Transportation Support, Resource Navigation, and Community Integration — including a dedicated track for veterans.
For its inaugural year, Reborn Ready has set ambitious goals: serving 40–60 individuals, targeting a 65–75% housing retention rate after six months, and securing job placements for at least 35–50% of participants within three months of entry.
